My Stay-cation
This like my diary often gets neglected. Many things in my life do if I am honest, my laundry, my nails, and mainly any kind of organization in my life. And apparently that last sentence because of the green line that appears under it. I have found pintrest and am addicted to it. I want it all. Thankfully I cannot have it all. I mean who really wants it all? Where is the motivation without the want? Right now what do I want? To make a manicure last more than 30 minutes.

There is not much to say other than I like this look. As soon as I find a reason to wear this I will. I am just not exactly sure where that will be, maybe a concert. (Of course a rock one)
Is there anything better than homemade chocolate chip cookies? They might be my on the top of my list of something special for yourself treats.
No reason other than I had a craving, this doughnut from Tim Horonts is not so easy to find. But I would sure like to have one or two. That being said I really do try and limit my doughnut intake…. the dangers of a yummy life.
I want one of the skulls (and one of each of the earrings - but let’s focus here).

When down south I will be doing an all out search for anything that has a Mexican Heritage vibe to it. That might be hard in that the location that we picked is not exactly known for its “culture” but rather for its “party”, and I am not one to party. So we will see. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
I am not one to jump on the bandwagon of posting things that are going on in the real world. That being said I would like to take a second to remember not the gossip and down falls of a human being but rather the pure talent and beauty of a woman who set records and opened doors and chances for other dreamers. A woman who sang a song that reminded us of how those who you love should always come fist, that reminded us of the power of love. The struggle with addiction is a powerful one, even the strongest of souls rages against it. I am sorry to any and all who feel they cannot reach out and seek help in their times of need. I am sorry to the families who have been left behind by those who could not fight any more.
So on that note I leave this note with one of the most powerful songs of the 1990’s.

Into the Wild is a 2007 American biographical drama film directed by Sean Penn. It is an adaptation of 1996 non-fiction book of the same name by Jon Krakauer based on the travels of Christopher McCandless across North America in the early 1990s. The film stars Emile Hirsch as McCandless with William Hurt and Marcia Gay Harden as his parents. The film premiered during the Rome Film Fest and later opened outside of Fairbanks, Alaska in September 2007.
